1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of CloudPilot, including the dashboard, the API, the CloudPilot agent, any server we provide, and the Odoo instances, domains and backups you manage through the Service. It is operated by Iraya Digitech Ltd. Words defined in our Terms of Service have the same meaning here.
2. What you must not do
You must not use the Service, or any server or instance managed through it, to:
- break any law or regulation, or encourage or help others to do so;
- store or share content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
- send unsolicited bulk email or messages, or run phishing, fraud or scams;
- distribute malware, ransomware or other harmful code, or operate botnets or command-and-control infrastructure;
- attack, probe, scan or test the vulnerability of any system or network without the owner's permission, including denial-of-service attacks;
- mine cryptocurrency on servers we provide;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, or promote violence or discrimination;
- breach sanctions or export control laws, or provide the Service to sanctioned persons or territories.
3. Using the platform fairly
- Do not try to get around usage limits, plan restrictions, authentication or security controls.
- Do not access accounts, servers or data that aren't yours, or interfere with other customers.
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile or copy the Service, except where the law allows despite this restriction.
- Use the API within its published rate limits, and don't place an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
- Do not resell or white-label the Service unless your plan allows it.
4. Security research
We welcome responsible security research on your own account. Don't access other customers' data, degrade the Service or use automated scanning at volume, and report findings to security@cloudpilot.app before disclosing them publicly.
5. Your cloud provider's rules
Servers in your own cloud accounts are also subject to your provider's acceptable use policy. You are responsible for complying with it.
6. What happens if this policy is breached
If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may investigate. We may also remove content, suspend or restrict access to the Service or affected resources, or close the account. Where practical, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem, but we may act immediately where there is a risk of harm or legal liability. We may report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
7. Reporting abuse
To report abuse involving CloudPilot, email abuse@cloudpilot.app with as much detail as you can, including URLs, IP addresses, timestamps and evidence.
