Community and Enterprise
Odoo.sh only runs Odoo Enterprise. CloudPilot runs both editions, so you can start on Community and add an Enterprise subscription code later on the same server.
Odoo.sh is the official Odoo platform, hosted by Odoo S.A. and priced by workers, storage and staging branches. CloudPilot gives you the same staging and Git workflow on servers in your own cloud account, for Community and Enterprise, with flat monthly pricing. Switching? See the Odoo.sh alternative guide.

Odoo.sh only runs Odoo Enterprise. CloudPilot runs both editions, so you can start on Community and add an Enterprise subscription code later on the same server.
With Odoo.sh the servers belong to Odoo S.A. With CloudPilot the server is created in your own AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr or Akamai account, or you bring any Ubuntu or Debian machine over SSH.
Odoo.sh bills by workers, storage and staging branches, so costs rise as you grow. CloudPilot plans are a flat monthly fee, with unlimited Odoo instances from Pro, and Odoo users are never counted.
Install system packages, tune PostgreSQL or inspect the server directly. CloudPilot hardens and manages the server, but it stays yours.
Keep backups in CloudPilot storage or send them to your own S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage or SFTP destination, each with its own schedule and retention.
Download any backup at any time, and remove CloudPilot from a server without touching the Odoo instances running on it.
You want a single vendor for your Enterprise license, hosting and support, you have no cloud account and do not want one, and per-worker pricing fits your budget.
You run Community or Enterprise, want servers in your own cloud account or region, need root access, or host several instances and want one flat price for all of them.
Yes, if you want the Odoo.sh workflow (staging, Git deploys, automated backups) on servers you control. CloudPilot adds Community edition support, a choice of seven cloud providers or any SSH server, and flat pricing.
Yes. Download a backup from Odoo.sh, create an instance from that backup in CloudPilot and it restores the database and filestore. Check it on a free subdomain before switching your domain over.
Only if you run Enterprise. Add your subscription code and CloudPilot installs the Enterprise addons. Community edition needs no subscription.
CloudPilot plans, billed annually, are $19 per month with hosting included (Starter), or $29 or $149 per month on your own servers with unlimited instances, plus what your cloud provider charges for the server. Odoo.sh charges per worker, per GB of storage and per staging branch, so the difference grows as you add workers and environments.
Try CloudPilot free for 14 days on a server you own, with automated backups, staging and team access included.
