Odoo custom development, built on staging first

The team that runs your Odoo can also extend it: custom modules, integrations, reports, data migration and upgrades of custom code. Every change is built in your Git repository and tested on a staging copy of your database before it goes live.

What we build

Odoo development for Community and Enterprise

For Odoo 16 to 20, hosted on CloudPilot, Odoo.sh or your own server.

Custom Odoo modules

New apps and features built as clean, documented modules: approval flows, pricing rules, industry fields, dashboards.

Changes to standard apps

Adjust Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing or Website to how your business works, without editing Odoo's own code.

Integrations

Connect Odoo to shops, marketplaces, payment providers, carriers, banks and in-house systems through their APIs.

Reports and documents

Quotations, invoices, delivery slips and management reports laid out the way you need them, in PDF and spreadsheets.

Data migration

Move customers, products, stock and history from spreadsheets or another ERP into Odoo, checked on a staging copy first.

Upgrades of custom code

Port your custom modules to Odoo 18, 19 or 20 and rehearse the database upgrade before the real one. Upgrading Odoo 18 to 19.

How it works

From request to production in four steps

1

Free scoping call

Tell us what you need. We ask about your process, your Odoo version and the apps involved, then agree what done looks like.

2

Fixed quote

You get a written quote with the scope, price and timeline. Work starts when you accept it, and payment is arranged directly with our team.

3

Built on staging

We develop in your Git repository and test on a neutralized staging copy of your database, where you review it on real data. Why staging matters.

4

Deployed and supported

After your sign-off the change is deployed to production from Git, followed by a warranty period for fixes.

Why CloudPilot

Development and hosting from one team

Tested on your real data

Staging copies are neutralized, so outgoing email and scheduled actions are off while you test.

Deployed from Git

Your custom modules live in your repository and deploy on every push, the same way as the rest of your custom modules.

No surprises

A fixed quote before work starts, and development billed separately from your hosting plan.

FAQ

Odoo custom development: questions

What Odoo development work do you take on?

Custom modules, changes to standard Odoo apps, integrations with other systems, reports and PDF layouts, website and portal changes, data imports and migrations, and upgrading custom modules to a newer Odoo version. Odoo Community and Enterprise, versions 16 to 20.

How is Odoo custom development priced?

Each project gets a fixed quote after a free scoping call, so you know the cost before work starts. Ongoing changes can be booked as a monthly block of hours. Development is quoted and invoiced separately from your CloudPilot plan.

Do I need to host on CloudPilot?

No, but it helps: on CloudPilot we build and test on a staging copy of your database and deploy from Git, so you review the change on real data before it reaches production. We also work on Odoo.sh and self-hosted servers.

Who owns the code?

You do. The modules are delivered to your own Git repository, with their source code, and you can host, change or hand them to another developer at any time.

How long does a project take?

Small changes such as a report or a field usually take days; a new module or an integration a few weeks. The quote gives a timeline, and you see progress on the staging copy along the way.

Can you upgrade our custom modules to a new Odoo version?

Yes. We port the modules, rehearse the upgrade of your database on a staging copy, fix what breaks, and plan a short production window with you.
