How it works

From Google Cloud account to live Odoo in three steps

1. Connect Google Cloud

Add a service account key (JSON) in CloudPilot. It is encrypted at rest and used only to manage servers you create through CloudPilot.

2. Create a server

Pick a region and size. CloudPilot creates the server, hardens it and installs the agent, with no open agent ports.

3. Launch Odoo

Choose a version and edition. Your instance is live on a free subdomain with SSL in minutes, ready for your own domain.

Why Google Cloud

Why run Odoo on Google Cloud

Google Cloud lets you keep Odoo in the same project as the rest of your Google Cloud workloads, with your own regions, IAM policies and billing account. Server prices depend on the region: see Compute Engine pricing.

Odoo on Google Cloud: questions

How do I deploy Odoo on Google Cloud?

Connect your Google Cloud account to CloudPilot with a service account key (JSON). Choose a region and server size, pick an Odoo version and edition, and CloudPilot creates the server, installs Odoo, PostgreSQL and Nginx, and gives you a free subdomain with SSL.

Who pays for the Google Cloud server?

You do, directly to Google Cloud. The server is created in your own account, so it shows on your Google Cloud bill. CloudPilot charges only its flat platform plan.

Can I run Odoo Community and Enterprise on Google Cloud?

Yes. Odoo 18, 19 and 20 in both editions. For Enterprise, add your subscription code and CloudPilot installs the Enterprise addons.

Where are backups stored?

Send backups to Google Cloud Storage in the same Google Cloud account, or to any S3-compatible bucket, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage or SFTP server.
