Install OCA addons from the Marketplace

Browse and install community addons in one click.

The Marketplace tab of every instance lists free, open-source addons from the Odoo Community Association (OCA) for the instance's Odoo version, and installs them in one click. It is included on every plan.

The catalogue has more than 3,000 addons for Odoo 18 and more than 1,400 for Odoo 19. It grows as the OCA migrates addons to newer versions, so Odoo 20 has only a few so far.

Find an addon

  1. Open the instance and choose the Marketplace tab.
  2. Search by name or by what you need, for example dashboard, SEPA or MIS, or pick a category.
  3. Each card shows the addon's maturity, licence and a link to its source.

Install it

Choose Install. CloudPilot shows which OCA repositories it adds: the addon's own and those of the OCA addons it depends on. When you confirm, it adds them to the instance on the matching branch, installs their Python requirements, puts them on the addons path and installs the addon. Odoo restarts briefly.

Added repositories appear on the Addons tab like any other Git module, so you can update them, turn on automatic upgrades or remove them there. Installing another addon from a repository that is already there reuses it.

Good practice

  • Try new addons on a staging copy first, especially ones marked Alpha or Beta.
  • OCA addons are maintained by the community. Check the source link for each addon's documentation and known issues.
  • To add addons from other publishers or your own, use custom modules from Git.

To understand OCA repositories, branches and dependencies, read our guide to installing OCA modules on self-hosted Odoo.
