Account and API

Audit log

See who changed what in your account, and when.

On the Business plan, CloudPilot shows the full history of your account: who created, changed or deleted servers, instances, backups, modules, domains, team members and API keys, when they did it and from which IP address. Actions are recorded on every plan, so the history goes back to when your account was created.

Open the audit log

  1. Open Settings and choose Audit log.
  2. Filter by Action (for example all instance actions, or only deletions), by Member, and by date.
  3. Choose Details on a row to see what was recorded with it, such as the domain of a new instance or the role given to a new member.

Rows by CloudPilot are automatic actions, such as scheduled backups. Passwords, keys and other secrets are never recorded.

Export it

Choose Export CSV to download the rows that match your filters (up to 10,000 at a time) for your own records or an auditor. The file opens in any spreadsheet.

Client accounts

Each client account has its own audit log. Open the client account from Clients and go to Settings → Audit log. Only admins can see the audit log.
