Account and API
White-label client portal
Let your clients use CloudPilot under your own brand.
On the Business plan, the members of your client accounts can use CloudPilot under your brand. They see your name, logo and accent colour in the dashboard, your support contact instead of ours, and alert emails sent in your name. You and your team keep seeing CloudPilot in your own account.
Set up your portal
- In your own account (not a client account), open Settings and choose Whitelabel.
-
Enter the Portal name your clients should see, and choose the
Sign-in address, for example
/portal/northwind. - Upload a logo (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG under 100 KB) or paste an https:// address, and pick an accent colour. The preview shows how the sidebar and buttons will look.
- Add a support email and help page if you like. Replies to alert emails go to the support email.
- Choose Save portal.
Invite your clients
Open the client account from Clients, go to Team and invite the client's users as usual. Send them the sign-in address from the Whitelabel page. After they sign in they land in their own account, branded as yours, and signing out brings them back to your sign-in page.
What your clients see
- Your name and logo in the sidebar, the page title and the footer.
- Your accent colour on buttons and links.
- Your support email and help page, and no CloudPilot plan or billing pages.
- Alert emails sent as your portal name, with your colour.
- Optionally a small “Powered by CloudPilot” line, if you turn it on.
Account emails sent by the sign-in system (such as the invitation and password reset emails) still come from CloudPilot.
Turn it off
Choose Turn off white label on the Whitelabel page. Your clients see CloudPilot again and the sign-in address stops working. The portal also switches off while your account is not on the Business plan, and comes back as it was when you return to Business.
