API keys and the REST API

Automate CloudPilot from scripts and CI with per-user API keys.

Everything in the dashboard is available over the CloudPilot REST API (Business plan) and through the CloudPilot MCP server (Pro and Business).

Create an API key

  1. Go to Settings → API keys → Create API key.
  2. Give it a Name that says what uses it, for example "GitHub Actions deploy".
  3. Choose when it Expires (30 days, 90 days, 1 year or never), and whether it is Read-only.
  4. Copy the key. It is shown only once.

Use the key

Send the key as a bearer token in the Authorization header to https://api.cloudpilot.app:

The full endpoint reference is in the API documentation. You can revoke a key at any time from the same settings page.
