Switch an instance to Odoo Enterprise

CloudPilot runs both Odoo Community and Odoo Enterprise. Enterprise needs a subscription from Odoo S.A.

1. Add your subscription code

Go to Settings → Enterprise Edition and enter your Odoo Subscription code. It is registered in databases you switch to Enterprise.

2. Check the Enterprise source

The Enterprise addons are not public: Odoo gives partners access to the odoo/enterprise repository on GitHub. CloudPilot downloads them to a server the first time an instance there is switched to Enterprise. The same settings page shows whether the source is ready.

3. Switch the instance

Open the instance, go to Settings and turn on Enterprise Edition. Test the switch on a staging copy first: installing Enterprise modules changes the database.
